In general we're trying to reduce the amount of vendor dependency (we unvendored bytebuddy then probably next up guava) errorprone is just one issue I've accidentally faced, https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/33349 had similar problem but with other dependencies in hive-exec and it was resolved with core classifier which I can't make work yet for hcatalog. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
