Hi @claudevdm, Following your feedback, this PR is now scoped to **Phase 1**: - Preserved `setup.py` at `pandas>=2.2.2,<2.4` so the blast radius is zero and existing user environments / default containers remain untouched. - Retained the backward-compatible reflection hardening in `frame_base.py`, `hasattr()` guards in `frames.py`, and dtype compatibility in `pandas_type_compatibility.py`. - Added the `py311-pandas-23future` CI test environment running with `PANDAS_MODE__COPY_ON_WRITE=1` and `PANDAS_FUTURE__INFER_STRING=1` to test Pandas 3 behaviors proactively on 2.3. - Resolved merge conflicts with `upstream/master`, added unit tests for `dtype_to_fieldtype`, and verified that all 84 GitHub Actions precommit / postcommit / unit test suites across Linux, macOS, and Windows are green.
