I think its generally fine to do this, as its ajamato:master, which is separate from beam:master. I am not aware of any issues this will cause. The only thing I can think of is that it might make it akward if I wanted ajamato/master to reflect beam/master for my work locally (Though that's not needed as I can always rebase from origin/master). But at this point I can rebase from origin/master and it should be back to the same state.
