Dependabot “groups” can only match dependencies by name (patterns / exclude-patterns), not by Cargo.toml path, and it can’t express “only update pbjson-types when substrait also updates.” The only workaround I could think of is to split Cargo updates into separate update blocks scoped by directory, then apply an ignore rule only in the datafusion/substrait block but the downside is increase Cargo.lock PR conflicts. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
