I think after one more PR to migrate spilling, the partial/final hash aggregation code should become stable enough for #22518 to get started. \* https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/7065 may introduce some small changes to partial/final hash aggregation. The code should be stable after the initial patch for blocked state management is merged, but I don’t think that change will be large enough to require postponing the optimization. The remaining migrations should not be related to partial/final hash aggregation or the #22518 optimization.
