## Which issue does this PR close? - Part of #25758 (requested in https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/25758#issuecomment-5904638560) ## Rationale for this change Backport of #25884 to `branch-55` for the next patch release. ## What changes are included in this PR? Cherry-pick of 80b964898c. Conflict resolution: - Kept `branch-55` versions of unrelated lines (`rstest`, `tokio` features). - Dropped the `AsOfJoin` display arm, because `AsOfJoin` does not exist on `branch-55`. Note: #25884 is not merged on `main` yet. This PR must be updated if #25884 changes before merge. ## Are these changes tested? Yes. The display tests in `datafusion-expr` and `datafusion-physical-plan` pass. Clippy is clean. ## Are there any user-facing changes?
