Maybe we could try to apply it to ballista and perhaps datafusion-distributed and see if we could use this API for those projects? It would be up to those maintainers of course if we actually wanted to do so, but a Proof of Concept that it was possible would make a nice rationale for adding to the core -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
