# Which issue does this PR close? N/A (docs only). # Rationale for this change The benchmarking page mixed the results with every engine's configuration and the cluster details, so the numbers were buried under several screens of setup. This puts the results up front and moves the details to pages readers can opt into. # What changes are included in this PR? `contributors-guide/benchmarking.md` becomes a `benchmarking/` section: - `index.md`: versions under test, the results table, a short note on reproducibility, and a toctree to the detail pages, plus the "Recording a new result set" guidance. - `environment.md`: cluster, nodes, pod sizing, data layout, executor storage, and the queries. - `ballista.md`, `spark.md`, `comet.md`, `trino.md`: per-engine configuration and how to reproduce. No content was dropped. Text was moved as is, apart from updating in-page anchor links to page links (heading anchors aren't enabled in the Sphinx config) and a few cross-references. The toctree entry in `docs/source/index.rst` now points at `benchmarking/index`. # Are there any user-facing changes? Docs only.
