## Which issue does this PR close? N/A. This is the "Protect the release branch in .asf.yaml" step of the release checklist in `docs/source/contributor-guide/release_process.md`. ## Rationale for this change `branch-1.2` was created without the branch protection step, so GitHub reports it as unprotected (`gh api repos/apache/datafusion-comet/branches/branch-1.2 --jq .protected` returns `false`). Changes to it can currently be pushed directly. This is the same gap that #6267 closed for `branch-1.0` and `branch-1.1`. ## What changes are included in this PR? Adds `branch-1.2` to `protected_branches` in `.asf.yaml` with the same required review (one approving review) as the other release branches. ## How are these changes tested? Not applicable to tests.
