## Which issue does this PR close? - Follow on to #26407. There is no dedicated issue for this change. Note: this PR is based on #26407 and includes its commit until that PR merges. Once #26407 is on `main`, this will be rebased so only the refactor remains. ## Rationale for this change In #26407, @jayzhan211 suggested a small cleanup in https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/26407#discussion_r2740000000: `ParquetFormat::infer_stats_and_ordering` repeats the same `fetch_stats_and_ordering` call in both arms of the runtime flavor `match`. The PR was merged without the change because the author did not circle back and the branch could not be pushed to, so this PR applies it separately. ## What changes are included in this PR? - Build the `fetch_stats_and_ordering` future once, then let the `match` on the runtime flavor decide only whether to run it in a `SpawnedTask` or inline on the current task. There is no change in behavior. ## What is the testing strategy for this PR? Pure refactor, covered by the existing tests: - `datafusion-datasource-parquet` lib tests - `datafusion-catalog-listing` tests - the `parquet` core integration tests ## Are there any user-facing changes?
