@adriangb since you own the expression adapter: is an extension-type opt-out from the default struct null-fill something you would take in core, and if so which shape, a per-extension-type adapter looked up from the session, or #26282 skipping the cast for columns a UDF claims? @alamb for the epic ordering. We are starting the Variant half in `datafusion-variant` as a wrapping `PhysicalExprAdapterFactory` either way, so this only decides how it gets wired in. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
