option 3 does seem the natural choice. do we have enough datafusion maintainers to lead the charge on solving the other issues though? such as setting up spark CI, having capacity for reviewing the contributions to the new repo, determining how to support spark versions, etc. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
