- Seeing repeated undesired patterns from what look like agent-generated PRs
and reviews that I'd like to cut down on.
- I also think the no regressions guidance on performance is too strict. We
should be optimizing for the common case. For example, these PRs improve
checked math performance dramatically
(https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/12062,
https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/12058) and the expense of slowing the
exceptional case (overflow). That seems reasonable to me.
