I don't think this should be close as completed as: 1. the actual issue is the memory while writing the parquet files it was never the sort, it was just covering it. 2. IMO configuration should be used to further optimize, not to make things work. if we can't write 8 files in parallel we shouldn't. 3. this have very clear reproduction -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
