Hi! I am popping over from the @substrait-io side of things. I will try and find some time to review this PR this week (though I am not so well acquainted with the `datafusion` repo, so it may take some time). But FYI there is no standard notion of table function in substrait yet. There is a PR open (https://github.com/substrait-io/substrait/pull/917) that begins to address formal table functions there. I don't fully understand the intention of the PR yet, but I'm wondering if it makes sense to wait to address this issue until there is a canonical table function representation? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
