Sorry for the delay in reply, I've been away from my windows box for a few
days.
It shouldn't touch the environment variables unless you tell it to edit the
path (which isn't the default behavior). If you tell it to do that it
should just try to append "C:\Program Files\Git\cmd;C:\Program
Files\Git\bin" onto the path. I don't see any other variables on my setup
aside from ruby ones, which of course don't really apply here.
