Lazy indeed, you don't need an account at all, just enter an email and
answer an easy captcha!
This seems very situational honestly, it's not often people would care about
the first commit in the repo, especially as the repo ages.  Could you just
put a tag or branch on the commit you want fast access to?  Tags don't have
to be specific releases, they can be anything you want really.
