Hi, I'm trying to migrate from SVN to GIT. I know that SVN creates its .svn directory in every directory it tracks. However, I find that GIT doesn't do so, but still I'm able to do some git operations in the sub-directories. I'm wondering how GIT locates the .git directory upward the working directory. Aplogies if this mentioned in the docs; I couldn't find that either.
