I'm cutting my teeth in Ruby and keep coming across gems I want to
check out in Github. I know Github is no longer building gems and it
looks like the authors have not published these to Gemcutter or
Rubyforge.

What are my options? Do I just have to wait for the authors to, if
ever, package these up and host them someplace else? It doesn't seem
cool for me to just take their code and package it out on Gemcutter.
Or is it? I'm not, at this point, changing anything in the code.

Thanks and sorry if this is a silly question. I'm just trying to not
do something dumb :)
