Greetings.

I had a public repo that I decided to make private. I then noticed
that Github search would still show results that pointed to my
project. So I decided to cancel my account because it said everything
would be deleted. However, Github search still shows results that
point to my project (though, the links are dead).

I did noticed that the search results were pretty outdated. So, is
this only a matter of time before the search index is updated and my
project won't show up in the search results? The search result shows
about five lines of code, which is enough to link my name to my old
user-name, and that's something I would like to see not happen.

Does anyone know for sure if this will change once the search index is
updated?
