Hi, I am trying to deploy my first project with git. These are the 2 features i have with subversion, but which i cant reproduce: - checkout subfolders from big repos - keep those subfolders as "working copies", so I can commit from them
I need these because: - my project is composed from an external framework, on it's own repository, and several modules on various other repos. The deployment consists in dispatching all thoses files on different web servers (front & back office, static assets, ...) - I need the project deployed in order to work on it and do commits. I wonder if my approach is not too much distorded by subversion... what would you advice?
