Hi, Any plans for GitHub to start hosting GitHub's Java projects a github hosted Maven Repository? Users of one of my (github) projects have started asking for it and immediately I thought why not GitHub? It would be a very useful feature and a natural fit to what you do (so well).
(Don't know the details (yet) but apparently besides running other people's software, a repo entails effectively exposing a directory structure by a custom (but open) protocol via an HTTP connection. Most of the meta-data to annotate a project is directly mappable to github user's account and you would be in a position to expose a button to java projects to create the archetype github maven project, with account SCM and github maven repo info already in place.)
