Created a page repository this morning and am getting the Page Does
Not Exist message when I go to 'steveodom.github.com'.
I got the initial build email message. I've made several additional
pushes to try to trigger additional builds but still nothing. It's
more than 2 hours later and I'm still seeing the 'does not exist'
page.
I have an index.html page (with content) in my master branch.
Steve,
I think the repository should be named steveodom.github.com, not just
steveodom, for GitHub Pages to recognize it.
From http://pages.github.com/:
Let’s say your GitHub username is “alice”. If you create a GitHub
repository named |alice.github.com|, commit a file named|index.html|
into the |master| branch, and push it to GitHub, then this file will
be automatically published to http://alice.github.com/.
