ps. I had a discussion, not exactly this but something on this line, with
Github support the other day. I wanted to create a repository with binaries
(maven2 repository to be precise) and wanted to access the binaries in a
flat structure via URLs. The idea I got was that Github is not the right
place to store binaries. Seems like a good use case to me, but perhaps out
of scope for Github.
