Yeh, the reason for these steps was to having to redo these types of revert every time we make a branch off master. Maybe 9.2.x will be the last 9 branch, but if we do a 9.3.x and 9.4.x, it'll be nice to have "master" in a shape that's 100% 9.x compatible, and the 10-Dev branch with all the incompatible (and bigger) changes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
