seems sort of duplicated with #13747 #13747 fixes #13662 with the same change: the same three `delete this` exits in `check_progress()`, and `_parent` as a `weak_ptr` locked in `notify_parent()` and `aggregate_status()`. It is already approved, so I suggest closing this one in favor of it. Two things here that #13747 doesn't have are worth carrying over: the orphan-child test section, and the 10.2.x nomination. `ConfigReloadTrace.cc` on 10.2.x is identical to master, and the header there has the same strong `_parent` member. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
