bneradt opened a new pull request, #473: URL: https://github.com/apache/trafficserver-ci/pull/473
The branch pipelines wrap their source checkout, including all three `retry(3)` attempts, in a one-minute `timeout`. When the git mirror is under load a single shallow clone (depth 1000) can take longer than that, and the build aborts before it compiles anything. On the controller, 271 `master/*` build logs from the past week contain `Timeout has been exceeded`, 234 of them `master/os_build`. For example, `os_build` #51371 cloned trafficserver-ci, then hit "Timeout set to expire in 1 min 0 sec" on the source checkout and ended `ABORTED`. This raises the wrapper to 10 minutes in all 12 `jenkins/branch` pipelines that have it. The `CloneOption` timeouts are already in minutes (10 for branch builds, 20 for PR builds), so the PR pipelines did not have this problem. The two-minute timeouts in `github/toplevel.pipeline` and `github/github_polling.pipeline` wait for the mirror to pick up the PR. They don't wrap a clone, so they are unchanged. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
