Frequent scrapes on servers with many metrics regenerate and compress the full stats dump on every request. `--cache-ttl=SECONDS` (0–3600, default 0 = off) caches the rendered body per output format and encoding. Cached responses carry `Cache-Control: max-age`, `Age` and `Vary: Accept, Accept-Encoding`. While one request regenerates a stale body, others get the stale copy if it is less than twice the TTL old. Compression now runs once on the full body instead of streaming, which replaces the encoder from #13753 but keeps its leak fixes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
