With HTTP/2 to origin enabled, error.log fills with "Server closed connection while reading response header" for responses that arrived intact. An HTTP/2 origin stream signals EOS when a bodyless response's HEADERS frame carries END_STREAM, with the whole header already buffered, and HttpSM logged every EOS in that state as an origin close. On a production host this produced about 750 lines a second, one per 204, 304, redirect or empty 200 response, which buries real origin failures and grew error.log about 75 times over. This patch moves the log line after the header parse, so it fires only when the origin closed before sending a complete header, including an empty response. Retry and error handling for real early closes is unchanged. The bodyless HTTP/2 origin test now also checks that error.log does not report these responses as closes.
