Currently if I add notes to commits and push these to the Gitlab control 
repo I see messages like this in the Feed:

John Smith pushed to branch refs/notes/commits at Project 1 / Foo
4e92750 Notes added by 'git notes add'

And the Network graph renders lines for this namespace as if it was a 
separate branch.

Should GitLab perhaps ignore this namespace?
While the messages in the Feed are pehaps useful and could remain, the 
Network graph in particular ends up looking a little disjoint and confusing 
as result of this namespace being rendered along side the main branches, it 
might be of value to remove it from this graph.
