Hi, I use the following ldap filter to allow specific people to login: user_filter: '(&(memberOf=CN=GitlabUser,OU=Groups,DC=domain,DC=local))'
This works if "User" is direct member of the Group "GitlabUser". But in my case I have a group "Developer" which is member of "GitlabUser" and my "User" is member of "Developer". So finally through transitive relation "User" is also a member of "GitlabUsers". But with my filter rule "User" can only login when he is a direct member of "GitlabUser". Is there another filter possibility to check for inherited memberships or is this feature unsupported?! Best Regards!
