I have an Nginx server acting as reverse proxy and SSL terminator for a
bunch of services on a Centos 6.5 server. Omnibus Gitlab's Nginx runs on
port 7777. This setup kills some of the pictures on Gitlab page, but not
all. Things that are hardwired work nicely, like
"/assets/application-296ff8a0c87574e522a2911224b5350b.css", while avatars
don't, like
"https://gitlab.example.com:7777//uploads/user/avatar/2/Blabla.png";.
^ I've tried using both http and https on Omnibus.

The problem here is that port 7777 is closed off from the outside. If I
remove ":7777" and manually load the image, it's all fine.
>From what I've been able to find of documentation and examples, in the
default Nginx there's no module for rewriting the body of the pages it
returns. It would also be a pretty nasty hack regardless.

Is there a way to make Omnibus Gitlab write links without its internal
port? Or some sneaky way to reverse proxy it? Would it be better to remove
the Nginx that comes with Omnibus and replace it with my main Nginx?
