Hi guys, we have currently evaluated GitLab. Unfortunately we have chosen another product. But since I am a great GitLab fan, I'd like to talk about one missing feature:
There is no file tree in the Merge Request - Changes view. There are other tools out there that have a nice tree. This helps navigating the files - especially for Java prorjects which typically have deep directory structures. One example for another product that has this feature: https://confluence.atlassian.com/download/attachments/299570995/Stash31_diff-search.png?version=5&modificationDate=1416904718320&api=v2 Stash also remembers all viewed files: Unviewed file names are painted bold within the tree. This is very helpful to be able to remember which files have been reviewed. I could not find such a feature in GitLab. Does this not exist? Any hope to see this in the future?
