Hi all,
I noticed that since I upgraded to 8.x two weeks ago (from 7.14) merging
may take also ages in my case (a few hours), and that the web app is not
properly updated.
The reason for that is that some Sidekiq jobs take hours to complete:

When I tried to restart gitlab via gitlab-ctl, sidekiq refused to shut
down cleanly. Once it was killed and gitlab restarted, the symptoms
disappeared.
I'm attaching the (sanitized) sidekiq log from this morning
(pre-reboot), in the hopes someone can point me to a solution or at
least where to concentrate my efforts...
