I played with gitorious a lot today and i like it very much. very clever how the ssh pushing works.
there is one thing what i should be able to do: limit access to the repositories for the registered users. could it be possible to clone and pull via ssh? are there other clever ways to archieve access controlled pulling? I only have http and sshw port open on the firewall. another question: i noticed there is a script for adding the ssh keys and other tasks. of course this could be scheduled with a cron job but i don't understand why this is done in that way. isn't it possible to add the keys right after the save action of the key, executed bij the rails controller?
