I want to clone a project but it fails. I've tried it from my home DSL connection, and then from a box inside my data center, and at both locations, this is what happens:
$ git clone git://gitorious.org/ditz/mw44118s-clone.git Initialized empty Git repository in /home/matt/checkouts/mw44118s- clone/.git/ fatal: read error (Connection reset by peer) fetch-pack from 'git://gitorious.org/ditz/mw44118s-clone.git' failed. What am I doing wrong? Before I get this error message, git hangs for a long time (like 5 minutes).
