I wish there was an edit button on this thing... more info.. the problem seems to be permissions related. what permissions I am not sure. I created another project run the script/task_manager as git user and the repo was created. I tried to push to the new repo with the same errors. I decided to delve deeper into the issue. For some reason gitorious doesn't believe my user has writable access to the repository of the Project created by me.
robertos-mac-pro:gitorious roberto$ git push origin master original_command: "git-receive-pack 'gitorious-configuration/ mainline.git'" user: "Roberto" strainer defined client defined Querying /projects/gitorious-configuration/repos/mainline/writable_by? username=Roberto (this is from Gitorious/script/../lib/gitorious/ssh/ client.rb) Errno::ECONNREFUSED Connection refused - connect(2) /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `initialize' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `open' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:53:in `timeout' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:93:in `timeout' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:553:in `do_start' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:548:in `start' /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:440:in `start' /opt/comcast/Gitorious/script/../lib/gitorious/ssh/client.rb:60:in `connection' /opt/comcast/Gitorious/script/../lib/gitorious/ssh/client.rb:35:in `writable_by_user?' /opt/comcast/Gitorious/script/../lib/gitorious/ssh/client.rb:40:in `assure_user_can_write!' /bin/gitorious:52 fatal error fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly I am out of idea on how to farther troubleshoot the issue, so any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
