We've just added a facility for renaming both projects(1) and
repositories (2). If you click to edit your project, you'll find a new
link in the sidebar labelled "Edit the slug". Select this, and enter a
new name for your project, and you're good to go. For repositores,
there's now a new field where you can enter a new name for your
repository.

A word of caution is in order, though. As soon as you change either
the project or repository name, old URLs - both HTTP and Git URLs -
will change, and need to be updated (eg. in your .git/config).
Gitorious uses these names when resolving requests.

Happy hacking!

Cheers,
- Marius
