Thanks! Of course this is an unacceptable solution for production, but yes, setting it to 1 did cause the web interface to work. I can now browse the repo. I'm still looking for a fix for the web interface, however, as well as a better understanding of how I should be using the dev, test , and prod databases. Thanks!
