We actually did something similar the other day: http://gitorious.org/gitorious/mainline/commit/d89fa8378b056e9f8edac5fffe93eeae865b1c67 Here we issue warnings if: - The gitorious_host variable will not work with session cookies - A user tries to log in to another host name than is specified in gitorious.yml I'll try to do it tomorrow, unless someone else wants to take a stab at it.
