If you don't have the time to figure out why git-daemon quits every
now and then you should use something like monit to control the
gitorious daemons. we use monit and it keeps all daemons running and
restarts them when they crash including the poller,ultrasphinx and
activemq, I can't see a gitorious installation without monit keeping
it alive at all times.
