Hi Folks, The story so far: - I'd like to get a private git server for personnal project and data ([OT] mainly GTD stuff like general refs or TODO-like lists) - Paranoïd proxy => push/pull over http(s) only :( - I know a little about Ruby but nothing about Rails
OK, starting from a fresh server running a GNU/Linux Squeeze distro, I succeeded in running my personal gitorious instance (thanks to http://cjohansen.no/en/ruby/setting_up_gitorious_on_your_own_server). The running gitorious instance "version": commit cb6bf0b91191530641271db778d82c2c9bd95496 Author: Marius Mathiesen <[email protected]> Date: Mon Apr 4 15:55:03 2011 +0200 With this setup, I can: - pull/push over ssh - clone over https But I cannot push over https. >From my google errands, it seems that gitorious doesn't support pushing over https, right or not? If this valuable feature is not yet supported, is it planned soon? If this is supported, some pointers?
