Hi guys, For a couple of days I've tried, and failed, to get Gitorious running on Ubuntu 10.04. I've followed the usual guides that have been knocking around for a while, and by and large I think they're fine - I think my problem is when I get to the end, and actually install Gitorious, there's some disparity between the trunk version of Gitorious I'm using, and the gems I've ended up with. I should point out that I'm no Rails expert so I may be doing something silly, but rake won't run, for example, because of this error:
uninitialized constant ActiveSupport::Dependencies::Mutex and Sphinx won't index because it's looking for the wrong table (base_tags instead of tags). So I'm wondering: what is the latest stable version of Gitorious? What should I be aiming to install, exactly? Which version of Rails is it compatible with? If someone could answer these questions I'd really appreciate it - been banging my head against a brick wall for a couple of days now!
