Hi guys, I'm fairly new to the Ruby-setup of things but I failed at setting up an external SMTP for gitorious. Or better: I failed to configure gitorious that way that I can use it normally with an external (i.e. remote) SMTP. The SMTP-server itself runs perfectly with other services like trac but fails to send mails via gitorious.
Before I dive into much deeper detail: Is there a short, current, comprehensive how-to on configuring that? Other related question: What's the setup gitorious is designed for? Smarthost/Relay/Sendmail on localhost? What's the best practise?
