Yes, that was the problem, you're exactly right. Not sure how hard it would be to persuade Gitorious to give a clearer error message about this. "You do not have write access to this repository ... (pre-receive hook declined)" doesn't exactly say "Duplicate SSH key" :-). The only reason I figured it out was that when I Googled the error message, I found this thread: https://groups.google.com/group/gitorious/browse_thread/thread/9a06f9a45cbbe761/622ad6c98277ee33?pli=1 ...in which someone pointed out this could be the problem. With that hint, I was able to recall that the ~civiccommons account had my SSH key too; I removed it from there, and after that I could push to ~kfogel.
