Hi, I'm a newbie and having trouble getting a source code tree. I used command:
git clone https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/samsung.git per instructions at http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html It appears to succeed abd produces a "samsung" directory with a ".git" in it, containing many megabytes of data, but no source tree. Ok, I then tried "git checkout master". Still no joy. Can anybody help this newbie understand what I'm doing wrong? I'm doing this on Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS.
