We have a local install on a Ubuntu 10.10 box. It's been working great for the last few months with no problems on the LAN. We've had a request where a few people need to work over the Internet, using git to push/pull, but for reasons too long to explain can not be given VPN access. Our initial thought was to put the box on a DMZ and forward an internet facing subdomain to an external IP which is port forwarded internally to the ubuntu machine.
The question is, will this approach work? Will we need to forward any other ports apart from 80? 22 perhaps? Any advice would be great. Thanks. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]
