I can speak to this one, since it was my original suggestion and Marius was answering - I was just tossing out an idea for API construction in the future version of Gitorious. At my work we have some middleware that talks to GitHub, and it would be nice to re-use that code to do Gitorious operations also. Personally I haven't had time to build this support into Gitorious yet. The reason I brought it up is that I like to discuss brand new large architecture changes in open-source projects before going off and implementing them, if only for a sanity-check. So I don't think the Gitorious project is "committed" to building a GitHub API - it was just an idea discussion. > So, could someone explain why the restful request does not work > anymore, was it intended ?
