Hi David,

the config folder is located under the root of the Gitorious installation. Where this is located depends on how you installed Gitorious, but you can generally find Rakefile, Gemfile, app/, test/, lib/ in the same folder as the aforementioned config/ folder.

cheers,
Thomas

Where did you find this config/ folder? I am also looking to change the timezone that it uses to display the commits to the local time of the user that is viewing it.

    Hi Everyone,

I have a small issue. The server which Gitorious is running has UTC
time zone, but I'm in Los Angeles, so I updated the config/
    environmet.rb and set config.time_zone = 'Pacific Time (US &
    Canada)'.

The dates/times of the comments and Gitorious generated artifacts all
show the correct times in Pacific Time, but in the commit log, the
dates/times are still in GMT!! I guess these are the date/times
    generated by git.

    How can I fix this?

In addition, do you know how can I change the time format to be AM/PM
    vs 24HR?

    Thanks,

    Drew
