Hi Marius, *I installed sphinx RPM like this:*
wget ftp://mirror.as24220.net/pub/epel/6/x86_64/sphinx-0.9.9-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh sphinx-0.9.9-1.el6.x86_64.rpm *Then it installs sphinx and I just check to make sure with:* yum -y install sphinx *And it reply:* Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * base: www.ftp.saix.net * extras: www.ftp.saix.net * updates: www.ftp.saix.net Setting up Install Process * Nothing to do* This means that it is installed successfully I assume. I am continuing the installation.
